These terms apply to orders placed with Platinum Appliances through this website. Please read them before ordering. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
Who we are
Platinum Appliances is the seller identified on your order confirmation. Contact us at sales@platinumappliances.co.uk. Our registered legal entity, trading address, company registration details (if applicable) and VAT number (if registered) must be confirmed and added here before publication.
Products and condition
We sell new, used, graded, ex-display and refurbished appliances. The listing should describe each item's condition, price, known defects, included accessories and any applicable product warranty. Images are illustrative where stated; review the individual product details before ordering.
Orders and payment
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We will confirm acceptance or otherwise notify you if an item is unavailable. Goods may be subject to stock confirmation at the supplying store. We display the total price and delivery charge before you place an order. Card, finance and instalment providers may apply their own additional terms and eligibility checks. We never treat a rejected payment as a completed purchase.
Delivery and collection
Delivery availability, charges and collection locations are shown at checkout. We will agree a delivery/collection date and explain any changes. Unless agreed otherwise, the legal delivery timeframe is 30 days. Inspect delivered goods and tell us promptly if there is a problem.
Your cancellation rights
For most goods purchased online, you can cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving them. You then normally have 14 days to return them. We will refund in accordance with applicable consumer law, including standard outbound delivery where applicable. You may be responsible for direct return costs if disclosed in advance. Some specific exceptions may apply. Contact us by email with your order number to cancel; we will provide a model cancellation form on request.
Faulty goods and legal rights
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 provides rights where goods are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described, taking account of their description and condition. Product warranties are additional to, not a replacement for, these rights. Each purchased item's warranty information appears on the product listing and in My Account after purchase.
Complaints and support
Use My Account for order and warranty requests, or email sales@platinumappliances.co.uk. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where the law prohibits exclusion.
Governing law
These terms are intended for consumers in the United Kingdom and are subject to applicable UK consumer law. A legal review is recommended before publishing this policy as final.
